Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Production Assistant, Content with a team-player spirit, to join our remote team. This position will be instrumental in ensuring the day-to-day operational needs of our event content production are met. The right candidate will be very agile and contribute creatively to the success of our events. They will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive in a start-up tech environment.

Please note: This is a remote, Mexico-based 40 hr/week contract position that requires working hours from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.

About Visit.org

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing event experiences and incorporating storytelling fundamentals and CP requests
• Scriptwriting and editing
• Reviewing event content
• Collaborating with NPOs for event execution, including content recommendations and tech support
• Ensuring event experience aligns with variables such as location and audience
• Assisting with event preparation and host onboarding
• Filling in for Virtual Technical Producers as needed
• Supporting large-scale event planning
• Performing additional duties as the role evolves

Qualifications

• 3+ years of live event production experience
• 1+ years of project management experience
• Strong editorial skills
• Understanding of event rundowns
• Ability to craft impactful stories for audiences
• Proficient scripting and creative writing skills
• Mastery of the English language
• Multilingual skills are a plus
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Video recording and editing skills are a plus
• Excellent multitasking abilities
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Passion for our mission and making a global impact through technology
