Job summary

• Analyze product features vs. competitors and assist with pricing strategy.
• Maintain SAP part numbers and ensure roadmap coverage.

JOB SUMMARY

Tenneco/DRiV is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Specialist to execute DRiV’s product strategy for emissions products.

This role is inherently cross-functional — you will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Pricing, Purchasing, Marketing, and Network Planning.

This job will require exceptional communication skills and planning skills as it will support multiple product categories.

This individual must have the ability to execute processes, track progress to planned deliverables across a large product portfolio, communicate results and elevate risks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define new product opportunities and lead cross-functional teams to launch.
• Initiate new product introduction requests in the planning system and define key milestones based on prioritization ranking.
• Track progress and phase status of new product introductions against key milestones, influence cross-functional teams to execute responsibilities against the timeline, identify potential risks and/or delays and drive actions to mitigate delays.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to actively promote products and win new business.
• Analyze features and benefits of DRiV products versus competitors and collaborate with Pricing Team to define value-based pricing.
• Define root cause and corrective actions when financial gaps against budget are identified.
• Maintain new part number set up within SAP and ensure coverage roadmaps are achieved

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of work experience within Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Development, Strategy, Marketing or Sales.
• Excellent project management and overall communication skills.
• Experience owning/driving projects to completion.
• Strong collaboration ability with customers and Sales Team.
• Proficiency with systems (SAP, Excel, PBI)
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, critical-thinking and time management skills.
