Product Specialist

Overview

Responsibilities

• Deliverables: Perform technical verification (TOC – Technical Order Check) of proposals prepared by sales representatives and quotation teams, ensuring alignment with technical standards and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to sales and engineering teams during the preparation of proposals and projects.
• Develop technical materials (presentations, training, application guides) for internal and external stakeholders, and deliver technical training sessions for clients, representatives, and internal teams.
• Prepare market analysis reports, identifying customer needs and opportunities for product improvement.
• Actively contribute to events, webinars, and technical marketing initiatives.
• Design and implement technical training programs for internal teams and strategic clients.

• Responsibilities: Maintain in-depth technical expertise in Big Dutchman’s pig systems and solutions, acting as the technical reference for the pig market across the LATAM region.
• Ensure the technical accuracy and compliance of proposals with customer needs and company standards.
• Support the sales department with technical expertise.
• Anticipate customer demands and potential issues, proposing proactive solutions.
• Provide continuous feedback to the Product Development team on improvements and market trends.

Qualifications

• Experience: Preferred 5 years of experience in pig production or related technical fields. Hands-on experience with client interaction, technical support, and/or sales of complex solutions. Experience delivering technical training and commercial presentations is an advantage.
• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related areas. Postgraduate studies or MBA in management, marketing, or business are considered an asset.
• Language: Advanced English; Proficient Spanish.
