Summary

The Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve quality, cost, and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers' products.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
  • Develop application software and tooling for complex machines and mechanical process steps within manufacturing.
  • Assess machine and process capability using Design of Experiments and statistical methods to ensure maximum utilization, throughput, and capacity growth.
  • Lead problem-solving processes for complex product and process issues affecting manufacturing efficiency.
  • Provide feedback to product designers on manufacturability considerations.
Physical Demands
  • Work is performed in a normal office environment.
  • May require extended periods of sitting and visual concentration.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, mouse use) are common.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
Typical Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience or similar job roles.
Typical Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational requirements may vary by location.
