Knorr-bremse busca un Product Owner para liderar la definición de visión y roadmap del producto dentro de un equipo ágil, priorizando para entregar valor a clientes y usuarios finales en un entorno de fabricación y sistemas de frenos.

El candidato debe comunicar eficazmente, gestionar stakeholders y coordinar con equipos multifuncionales para asegurar entregas incrementales y alineadas con la estrategia de la empresa Bendix dentro del grupo Knorr-Bremse.

Formación

Conocimiento básico de Scrum y Agile
Conocimientos de prácticas de Product Ownership como Story mapping, Personas, Vision
Fundamentos de finanzas
Comprensión de procesos de negocio y métricas relevantes
Comprensión de procesos de ingeniería, operaciones, finanzas, marketing y ventas

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

As a Product Owner, this individual is responsible for creating and maintaining a product vision and roadmap. Collaborating with customers and stakeholders, this position identifies the needs and the value the product can bring to the customer and the overall Bendix product portfolio. As part of an Agile team this individual will be responsible for clearly articulating these needs and priority to the development team. This position is expected to represent the customer and business interests through the definition and prioritization of the product backlog that provides valuable outcomes that satisfy the larger business features and solutions.

Essential Functions:

Champion for the customer by collaborating with the Agile team to develop user stories that create value for our customers.
Work with other Product Owners in their area to identify and plan for dependencies with other teams.
Create, share, incorporate feedback on the Product vision and roadmap.
Maintain a visible, transparent, clear, and data driven Product roadmap, product planning, and product backlog for new features and improvements.
Execute the role of a Product Owner as described in the Scrum Guide.
Work collaboratively with the Agile team to align with product vision, negotiate commitments and maximize value delivery.
Sequence and balance trade-offs among conflicting business priorities.
Constantly pursues incremental delivery to reduce risk and increase learning opportunities through frequent, measurable delivery of value.
Collaborate with stakeholders during sprint reviews, or individually, to show the most critical aspects of a solution.
Work with the development team to have ready backlog prior to each sprint.
Foster a strong team interaction that allows people to get information on time by creating an environment where people share ideas and opinions, even when they disagree to ensure optimum solutions, activities.
Act as customer advocate for team questions and seek out opportunities to connect the team with end users, stakeholders and customers to develop and improve their understanding and empathy of end user needs.
Establish and maintain business cases for opportunities based on product and customer strategies.

Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of Scrum and Agile
Product Ownership practices such as Story mapping, Personas, Vision,
Basic Financials
Understanding of major functional and cross-functional business processes and related metrics. (Engineering, Operations, Financial, Marketing, and Sales)
Understanding and utilization of business, management and people processes needed for overall success.

Experience:

Product Owner 1:

Prior experience negotiating tradeoffs with technical and business resources
External and internal customer relationship building or training.
Experience managing and prioritizing business and customer requirements
Agile Scrum development environment experience is a plus
Experience in the automotive or transportation industry preferred

Product Owner 2:

3+ years’ experience negotiating tradeoffs with technical and business resources
External and internal customer relationship building or training.
Experience managing and prioritizing business and customer requirements
Agile Scrum development environment experience is a plus
Experience in the automotive or transportation industry preferred
Prior experience leading and motivating teams
Experience delivering products into the marketplace

Product Owner 3:

7+ years’ experience negotiating tradeoffs with technical and business resources
External and internal customer relationship building or training.
7+ years’ experience managing and prioritizing business and customer requirements
Agile Scrum development environment experience is a plus
Experience in the automotive or transportation industry preferred
7+ years’ experience leading and motivating teams
5+ years’ experience working with a cross-functional team delivering complex products into the marketplace

Skills:

Education:

Four-year technical, marketing, or business degree preferred
Agile training and certification preferred
