This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager based in Mexico. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable product solutions within an AI-driven software development environment. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that product requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with strategic objectives. You will lead requirements analysis, roadmap planning, scope management, and product documentation throughout the development lifecycle. Working closely with developers, QA engineers, and business leaders, you will help turn ideas into scalable solutions while anticipating risks and dependencies. You will also leverage AI tools to improve research, analysis, and product management workflows. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and delivering meaningful business impact.

Responsibilities

As Product Manager, you will oversee the translation of business objectives into actionable product requirements, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the development and delivery process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, workflows, requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate and prioritize product requirements based on business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, scope, and delivery constraints.
• Identify missing information, ambiguous requirements, conflicting expectations, business rules, and potential edge cases before development begins.
• Maintain accurate and traceable product documentation, including requirements, meeting notes, approved decisions, and scope changes.
• Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify expectations, resolve questions, and align on product requirements.
• Assess change requests and communicate their impact on scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and technical stakeholders to clarify expected functionality, investigate blockers, and validate solutions against business requirements.
• Support product roadmap planning and ongoing prioritization to guide product evolution and delivery decisions.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating business scenarios, reviewing reported defects, clarifying expected behavior, and determining whether issues fall within the agreed scope.
• Leverage AI tools to support research, analyze information, refine requirements, develop user stories, and improve product documentation while ensuring the accuracy and relevance of generated outputs.
• Follow up on outstanding questions, pending decisions, dependencies, and action items to maintain stakeholder alignment and facilitate timely delivery.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring senior-level Product Management or Product Ownership experience, strong business analysis capabilities, and the ability to connect business priorities with technical execution. The following qualifications and skills are expected:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a similar role.
• Proven experience making product decisions, managing priorities, evaluating scope, and balancing business requirements with delivery considerations.
• Strong expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, including business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, prioritizing requirements, and supporting product delivery throughout development and User Acceptance Testing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including facilitating discussions, managing expectations, negotiating scope changes, and aligning business and technical teams.
• Ability to identify gaps, clarify ambiguous requirements, anticipate edge cases, and assess the impact of changes on scope, dependencies, and priorities.
• Experience collaborating directly with developers, QA engineers, and other technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
• Working knowledge of software development processes, system dependencies, and technical concepts. Programming experience is not required.
• Experience creating and maintaining Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini for research, requirements analysis, user story development, and product documentation.
• Familiarity with product management, ticketing, and documentation platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• B2+ English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Qualifications That Would Be Considered An Advantage Include

• Experience working in software development companies, software factories, or nearshore environments involving multiple clients, products, or industries.
• Background in revenue forecasting, financial planning, sales forecasting, demand planning, budgeting, or similar business planning solutions.
• Experience in aviation, aeronautics, or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environments.
• Familiarity with prioritization frameworks such as MoSCoW or RICE.
• Experience conducting formal product discovery and developing PRDs or BRDs from scratch.
• Knowledge of business process mapping and visualization tools such as Miro, Lucidchart, FigJam, or Microsoft Whiteboard.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Figma Make, or Claude Design to communicate product concepts and visualize workflows.
• Experience defining or managing AI-enabled product features, including AI augmentation, predictive capabilities, or machine learning applications.
• Experience managing products throughout their full lifecycle, from discovery and development to production and continuous improvement.
