This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Manager based in Mexico.

We’re looking for an experienced content professional to take ownership of content strategy, editorial quality, and measurable results for a successful software product business. In a landscape where AI makes producing first drafts easier than ever, this role focuses on creating content that is genuinely valuable, accurate, engaging, and worth publishing. You’ll shape editorial priorities, guide a small team of writers, and use your judgment to raise the quality of both new and existing content. You’ll also combine AI-assisted creation with hands-on editing and optimization to improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms. Working closely with leadership, developers, and product teams, you’ll turn complex technical knowledge into clear, accessible content. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership, experiment with new approaches, and connect your decisions directly to business outcomes.

Accountabilities

• Define and lead the content direction, setting editorial priorities and identifying topics and formats with the greatest potential value.

• Edit and improve new and existing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, relevance, and a consistently high editorial standard.

• Use AI tools to support content research, drafting, and editing while applying strong editorial judgment and maintaining quality.

• Lead and support a small team of writers, providing constructive feedback and helping them develop their skills.

• Take ownership of content performance, tracking results and using data to guide improvements.

• Improve content visibility through SEO and optimization for AI-powered search, including GEO and AEO strategies.

• Experiment with new topics, formats, and approaches, evaluating performance and scaling successful initiatives.

• Collaborate with senior leadership, developers, and product teams to translate technical expertise and product knowledge into engaging, reader-friendly content.

Requirements

• Several years of experience creating, writing, and editing high-quality content, supported by strong writing skills and sound editorial judgment.

• Previous experience leading a small team of writers and helping team members improve through clear, constructive feedback.

• A quality-first mindset, with a focus on content value and impact rather than publication volume.

• Demonstrated ownership of content performance, with the ability to explain achievements and their contribution to business results.

• Hands-on experience with SEO and optimization for AI-driven search, rather than experience limited to managing others.

• Strong practical knowledge of AI writing and editing tools, including the ability to recognize when human expertise and judgment are essential.

• Experience creating content for software, SaaS, or other technical products, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, engaging language.

• Confidence working independently in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, setting priorities, and evaluating outcomes without requiring detailed instructions.
