Una empresa líder en soluciones de conexión electrónica está buscando un Gerente de Producto. Será responsable de la gestión completa del ciclo de vida del producto, desde el concepto inicial hasta el lanzamiento al mercado. Se requiere experiencia en gestión de productos en el sector de la electrónica y habilidades interpersonales destacadas. El puesto está ubicado en Mexicali, Baja California.

Formación

  • 5+ años de experiencia en gestión de productos o desarrollo de negocios técnicos.
  • Conocimientos técnicos relacionados, como UL y USCAR.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse en diferentes zonas horarias y lenguas.

Responsabilidades

  • Establecer y mantener precios y gestionar actividades de cotización.
  • Garantizar el margen objetivo de fabricación.
  • Actualizar y revisar el pronóstico de pedidos mensualmente.
  • Identificar nuevas oportunidades de ventas y cuentas objetivo.
  • Desarrollar relaciones con ventas y clientes.

Responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch and beyond. They identify customer needs, develop the product vision, and work with cross-functional teams to bring the product to market. They also ensure the product aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsabilidades
  • Establish / maintain pricing and manage regular quotation activities to deliver quotations to salespeople and/or customers based on connectors and cables available in Amphenol or from other sources as well as factory manufacturing cost.
  • Guarantee manufacturing unit target margin.
  • Familiar with cost breakdown.
  • Monthly updating and reviews of detailed order forecast to maintain performance to annual budget.
  • On going review, management and maintenance of new business opportunities funnel documentation.
  • Identifying new sales leads, target accounts and target applications.
  • Proposing appropriate solutions along with business proposals.
  • Developing relationships with sales, FAE and the customers/
  • Promoting and advocating the BU within the sales organization.
  • Travel required.
Requisitos
  • BS degree in business, finance or a technical/engineering discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, sales, technical business development, preferably for an electronics product line in a related market.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Be able to communicate across various time zones, and languages to get the message across and get what you need.
  • Technical knowledge of the relevant standards – UL, USCAR, etc.
  • Extremely important to have a “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build rapport, internally and externally.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong work ethics.
