Overview
Responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch and beyond. They identify customer needs, develop the product vision, and work with cross-functional teams to bring the product to market. They also ensure the product aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
- Establish / maintain pricing and manage regular quotation activities to deliver quotations to salespeople and/or customers based on connectors and cables available in Amphenol or from other sources as well as factory manufacturing cost.
- Guarantee manufacturing unit target margin.
- Familiar with cost breakdown.
- Monthly updating and reviews of detailed order forecast to maintain performance to annual budget.
- On going review, management and maintenance of new business opportunities funnel documentation.
- Identifying new sales leads, target accounts and target applications.
- Proposing appropriate solutions along with business proposals.
- Developing relationships with sales, FAE and the customers/
- Promoting and advocating the BU within the sales organization.
- Travel required.
Qualifications
- BS degree in business, finance or a technical/engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, sales, technical business development, preferably for an electronics product line in a related market.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Be able to communicate across various time zones, and languages to get the message across and get what you need.
- Technical knowledge of the relevant standards – UL, USCAR, etc.
- Extremely important to have a “can-do” attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build rapport, internally and externally.
- Highly self-motivated with strong work ethics.
