About The Position

We are looking for a Product Engineer - Software Architect to join the Electronic Systems North America Product Engineering team, reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager. This position is based at our office in Mexico (Tepotzotlán or Aguascalientes).

As the Product Engineer - Software Architect at Marelli, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of software systems within our Electronic Systems division. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry standards and customer needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Software Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the architecture for software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, product management, and other engineering teams to integrate software solutions seamlessly with overall system designs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure software designs meet quality standards through rigorous testing methodologies and adherence to processes.

What Qualifications You Will Bring

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong background in embedded systems or electronic systems.
• Proficiency in software design principles and patterns, with hands-on experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
