Flex seeks a Product Engineer to support SpinCo initiatives in Guadalajara, North Campus. You will receive, analyze, and tailor customer documentation to establish production processes while maintaining design and performance integrity.

Responsibilities include supporting production engineering issues, BOM analysis, and DFx activities, with emphasis on NPI implementation and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires English fluency and on-site work in Guadalajara.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge with implementation engineering changes.
• Leadership in NPI implementation.
• Experience with agile.
• Lead the implementation of ECOS.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge in MRP (Baan, Flex flow) is also a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with customer and departments on product issues – engineering changes and new model development.
• Analyze BOM for production and define structure.
• Participate in cost reduction in material, inventory, and scrap.
• Conduct DFM, tolerance analysis, DOE, and root/cause analysis.
• Analyze PCN and MCO actions and report to customer.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Project Manager the role involves responsabilities for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:

• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
• Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) analysis and structure definition for production.
• Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer.
• Analyze and determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge with implementation engineering changes.
• Leadership in NPI implementation.
• Experience with agile.
• Lead the implementation of ECOS.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge in MRP (Baan, Flex flow) is also a plus.

Availability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.
