Job summary

KEMET de México is seeking a Product Engineer to define and develop product specifications, raw materials, dimensions, and manufacturing requirements. You will implement design changes to improve performance, reliability, and quality, ensuring timely customer orders.

Work with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive continuous improvements, resolve technical challenges, and optimize designs for manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product specifications, raw materials, dimensions, and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop, implement, and validate product design changes to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Establish and monitor process controls to ensure consistent product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product introductions and transfers.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to product performance and processes.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Support engineering change management and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
