Skyworks Solutions, Inc. en Mexicali busca un Ingeniero de Desarrollo y Sustentación de Producto con formación en semiconductores o electrónica para actividades de desarrollo y sustentación de productos. Se valorará iniciativa y capacidad de pensar fuera de lo común.

El rol implica analizar datos de producción, colaborar con propietarios de producto en EE. UU., proponer mejoras de yield y flexibilidad de suministro, y presentar resultados en reuniones técnicas.

Formación

• Experiencia en entornos multi-tarea y detalle.
• Habilidades de comunicación fuertes.
• Se requiere aproximadamente 85% de inglés conversacional.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar datos de producción usando software estadístico y revisar resultados con propietarios de producto en EE. UU.
• Creación y seguimiento de prototipos para mejorar yield y flexibilidad de suministro, evaluando componentes alternativos y segundas fuentes.
• Liderar presentaciones de datos de pruebas en reuniones de revisión de boards y explicar resultados de evaluaciones para la viabilidad del proyecto.
• Calcular tasas de fallo y límites estadísticos a partir de datos históricos de producción.
• Colaborar con equipos de diseño, proceso, prueba y fiabilidad para ejecutar múltiples actividades.

Product Development and Sustaining Engineer 1

Looking for a skilled and motivated Engineer with Semiconductor or Electronics Engineering background, for development and sustaining activities for semiconductor products. Candidates should enjoy analysis and work in an environment where personal ownership and initiative in seeking outside-the-box solutions is fostered.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze production data using statistical software and review of results in collaboration with US product owners.
• Creation and follow up of prototype builds targeting product yield improvements and supply flexibility such as evaluation of alternate components along with other second sources.
• Lead the presentation of test data results into specialized board review meetings been able to explain evaluations results for project feasibility.
• Calculation of failure rates and statistical limits based on production historical data.
• Work collaborating with engineering teams from design, process, test and reliability to help on the execution of multiple activities.

Experiencia y Habilidades Requeridas

• Proven ability to work in a multi-tasking environment with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• 85% conversational English proficiency is needed.

Experiencia y Habilidades Deseadas

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
