BorgWarner is seeking an engineering professional to manage engineering changes, BOM updates, DFMEA releases, and validation tests in an automotive context. The role involves coordinating prototype builds and coordinating with product laboratories to ensure successful releases.

Ideal candidates will have an electronics or mechanical engineering background and experience in the automotive industry, with strong skills in DFMEA, GD&T, and problem solving.

Formación

• Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Electromechanically, with automotive experience.
• Experience in the automotive industry.

Responsabilidades

• Submit and/or follow up Engineering Change Requests and Change Notifications.
• Review customer technical requirements and reports as needed.
• Update and release BOMs, product drawings, and DFMEA.
• Prepare and report validation tests with product laboratories.
• Coordinate prototype builds with plant teams and production.
• Support design changes and technical reviews.

Submit and/or follow up Engineering Change Request (CR)/ Change Notification (CN) Customer Technical Requirements review Customer communication/report Bill of Materials (BOM) update and release Product Drawings update and release DFMEA update and release Engineering test specifications update and release Quote prototype samples to customers Conduct, coordinate and report validation tests together with product laboratories Perform and report problem solving according to the product line needs Conduct and coordinate prototype builds in plant together with prototype/production teams IMDS Submission Production plant technical support Design changes Technical Review.

Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Electromechanically. Experience in the automotive industry.
