Job Description: Design and Fabrication Documentation Specialist
Documents the design and fabrication of custom air handling units to meet client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Possesses basic knowledge of sheet metal construction.
- Reviews sheet metal submittal package drawings.
- Analyzes work and process requirements to perform specific sheet metal assembly tasks.
- Develops work instructions to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Collaborates with Quality Control and Engineering to maintain work instructions.
- Supports Process Engineering through ongoing collaboration on infrastructure improvement projects.
- Communicates directly with Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Operations.
- Generates documents and instructions to support manufacturing processes for custom HVAC equipment.
- Creates drawings and details using AutoCAD software.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning).
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word, at a medium level).
- Advanced English language skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
- Degree in an engineering-related field.
