HP in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a Product Engineer to lead product development and manufacturing collaboration, enhancing quality while reducing costs. You will analyze defective units, integrate customer feedback, and drive improvements across all project phases.

Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years in product design/development and a strong background in engineering fundamentals, with experience coordinating internal and external teams in a manufacturing setting.

• Requires 4–7 years of work experience in product design & development or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate results from customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality processes for products and communicate issue analysis to stakeholders.

• Represent product engineering in large, complex development and manufacturing projects across all phases.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced staff to promote innovation and engineering excellence.

Description

Job Summary

• This role is responsible for leading the efforts of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the production, collaborating with them to recommend and implement changes to enhance product quality, lower costs, and diminish defects. The role conducts comprehensive engineering analyses of defective product units and sub-assemblies. The role assesses the outcomes of customer feedback, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance procedures. The role applies developed subject matter knowledge to take charge of complex development and manufacturing projects across all phases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and leads activities of internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners to support manufacture of products.
• Performs engineering analysis of defective product units or sub- assemblies, along with root-cause analysis in case of production matters.
• Evaluates results of customer feedback and manufacturing, test, and quality assurance processes for products and communicates product and process issue analysis to product stakeholders.
• Collaborates with management, internal, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners to address issues, recommend and implement changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Represents product engineering team for all phases of larger and more- complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.
• Develops recommendations on changes and design enhancements to manufacturing processes to improve reliability, safety, outputs.
• Leads moderate to high complexity projects, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.
• Delivers professionally written reports, and supports realization of operational and strategic plans.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of product engineering design and development innovation and excellence.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in product design & development, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
