• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer/mechatronics/software/CS/IT or related field.
• English advanced
• Foundational understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, data or systems engineering.
• Programming basics in Python or JavaScript.
• Basic web tech: HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of core software development concepts (variables, functions, data structures, debugging).
• Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams experience.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in English within an engineering context.

Responsabilidades

As a The Diagnostic, Data & Feature Assurance -Ford Champ, you will be responsible of supporting the development of vehicle diagnostic requirements, connected-vehicle data analysis, and digital engineering solutions. The intern will gain hands‑on experience creating web applications, dashboards, and automation tools.
You'll work with experienced engineers to learn how vehicle diagnostics, data requirements, and digital engineering solutions are built throughout the product development process. You'll support work in vehicle diagnostics, electronic control systems, connected-vehicle data, and engineering documentation, while helping build web applications, dashboards, and automation tools that boost engineering efficiency and support better decision‑making. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to systems engineering, diagnostic protocols, software development practices, data analytics, and collaborative engineering workflows. This role is ideal for a motivated student interested in automotive electronics, software, data analytics, connected vehicles, and automation—someone eager to apply academic knowledge to real engineering problems while building technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnostics support: Help document and review how vehicle systems and electronic components are diagnosed and troubleshot, while building familiarity with how different systems in the car communicate with one another.
• Data analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze engineering and connected‑vehicle data to spot trends, potential issues, and opportunities to improve quality.
• Digital tool development: Build web applications, dashboards, and internal prototypes using tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, and Streamlit, including designing user‑friendly interfaces and connecting them to relevant data sources.
• Automation and coding practices: Support the automation of repetitive tasks, write clean and well‑documented code, and use version‑control tools like Git/GitHub to collaborate with other developers.
• Testing and documentation: Take part in code reviews and application testing, and help document how tools work, key technical decisions, and ideas for future improvements.
• Collaboration and communication: Join meetings with different technical teams, clearly share progress and findings, follow established quality and safety practices, and complete assigned training and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• English advanced
• Basic understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, data, or systems‑engineering principles.
• Foundational programming knowledge in at least one language, preferably Python or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of web development technologies, including HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with software development concepts such as variables, functions, data structures, debugging, and application testing.
• Basic analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an interest in troubleshooting complex technical and software‑related problems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in English within an engineering environment.
