North American Production Sharing de México, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a CAD designer to develop, optimize, and document product models for varied projects in Tijuana.

You will create 3D models, drawings, and renderings while ensuring manufacturability and quality alignment with client requirements. You will collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing, interpret designs from sales, and contribute to continuous improvement through simulations and design enhancements.

Formación

• Proficiency in 3D design software and drawing creation.
• Knowledge of technical drawings, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.
• Basic knowledge of strength analysis or simulation (desirable).
• Creativity, precision, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and communicate effectively.
• Ability to converse in English.

Responsabilidades

• Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and renderings of products or structures.
• Interpret design requirements from clients or the sales department.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing to validate the technical feasibility of designs.
• Generate technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications).
• Participate in product development and continuous improvement meetings.
• Ensure that designs comply with internal quality and safety standards.
• Perform simulations or virtual tests when required by the project.
• Propose improvements to materials, processes, or design methods to optimize manufacturing costs and timelines.
• Provide technical support to the production department during the manufacturing or installation of projects.
• Keep the digital archive of designs and backups up to date

Job Purpose

Develop, design, and optimize products, structures, or components using specialized 3D design software, ensuring the functionality, quality, aesthetics, and manufacturability of the company\'s projects.
