The Clorox Company invites you to join as a Product Costing Analyst based in Mexico City with a hybrid work model (in-office 2x per week). You will develop standard costs, forecast variances, and enable data-driven decisions across Finance to support growth of leading brands.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting/cost analysis, strong data analytics, and proficiency in English, with knowledge of US GAAP considered a plus.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of accounting or cost analysis experience, preferably in CPG/manufacturing.
• Advanced data analytics and/or ERP experience (S/4HANA).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Execute product costing runs and establish yearly standard costs in S/4HANA, ensuring internal controls.
• Perform monthly/quarterly close per GAAP; prepare journal entries and reconciliations; analyze variances.
• Prepare forecasts for COGS and provide insights to support business decisions.

Your role at Clorox:

The Product Costing Analyst plays a critical role in the development of standard costs, as well as in forecasting and analyzing variances to those standards.

As a key business partner, you will help facilitate company strategies and goals by translating operating activities and results into actionable consumer and business insights. Within Finance, your work will drive decision-making across the organization and contribute to building strong, market-leading brands that make everyday life better—every day.

In this role, you will:

• Product costing and controls : Execute product costing runs and estimates in S/4HANA ERP, actively participate in the creation of yearly standard costs, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
• Financial closing and reporting : Execute monthly and quarterly close in accordance with GAAP, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and report actual performance vs. forecast by identifying key variance drivers.
• Forecasting and business insights : Prepare forecasts for assigned COGS responsibilities and develop insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Collaboration and issue resolution : Work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve costing issues, and influence system improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reporting optimization and analytics : Enhance reporting capabilities using data analytics tools (PowerQuery, PowerBI, Power Automate) for analysis and visualization.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or Cost analysis, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods or Manufacturing industry.
• Advanced Data analytics and/or database/ERP experience (S/4HANA)
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards is a plus
