We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Product Control.

Role purpose:

We are looking for a talented individual to join the Product Control (PC) Valuation team to be a key contributor on valuation matters related to HSBC Mexico Global Banking & Markets. This role will report to the Product Control Valuation Team Lead and will involve extensive liaison and communication within the Finance team. The role will focus on process improvement and automation, supporting teams across various areas.

Main activities:

• Contribute to HSBC Mexico Valuation Policy.
• Participate in the implementation and automation of FRTB processes within HSBC Mexico's Product Control department.
• Investigate collateral/MTM disputes with external counterparties.
• Support the Core PC team with PL disputes related to valuation.
• Ensure local models are well documented, periodically reviewed by the IMR team, and accurately listed in GMIS (HSBC Canada Model repository).
• Calculate, post, and reconcile all Fair Value Adjustments for HSBC Mexico Global Banking and Markets.
• Manage the daily End of Day curve process to derive the marked-to-market of asset classes.
• Serve as the focal point for valuation questions from internal and external stakeholders (PwC, audit, business, NPDD, etc.).
