Job Description

This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes.

How You Will Contribute

You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting “make or buy” analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

Job Scope

  • Support the regional and global strategy formulation for the category of Indirects and implement it across North America Region.
  • Ensure strategy and project execution; drive productivity and DPO improvement through simplification, scale, and operational excellence.
  • Manage bids, negotiations, and act as the first point of contact for regional and local leads, the market, and suppliers.
  • Control procurement negotiations across North America: facilities, supplies, and all other indirect services.
  • Lead regional facilities projects and act as procurement point of contact.
  • Develop bid documentation (Bid Records/Waivers and SAF) and send documents for approval as per procurement policies.
  • Participate in global initiatives and ensure proper follow-up and implementation.
  • Work with legal to set up contracts and ensure standardization across North America.
  • Conduct market analysis on demand, capacity, inflation, industry insights, and trends; contribute to building the annual transportation budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred in business, engineering, or logistics
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 1 year experience working with virtual teams
  • Minimum 3 years procurement experience
  • Experience in facilities and/or logistics procurement preferred
  • At least 1 year project management experience
  • Experience with sourcing tools such as 7-step sourcing, Tableau, SAP (minimum 1 year)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Winning attitude, confidence, creativity, and effective communication skills at all levels
  • High empathy, professionalism, and influence without authority
