Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Procurement Operations professional to develop solutions to operational and technical challenges within the Global Buying Policy, supporting project execution and cross-functional collaboration.

You will handle transactional tasks, supplier docs, PO and invoice issues, and coordinate with Shared Services to expedite orders and ensure compliant procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience in procurement or similar roles.
• Advanced English and strong analytical skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and data management.
• Effective communication, proactive, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily support with procurement buyers on PSRT tasks and policy following.
• Retrieve NDAs, supplier certificates; assist with e-RFx, e-auction, PO and invoice issues.
• Transactional work: acknowledgements, voucher approvals, change orders, requisitions with Shared Services.
• Assist buyers on special requests; expedite emergency orders and support Requisition to Payment processes.
• Request/review supplier docs in Ariba; training for Ariba and supplier setups.
• Manage PO creation, updates and invoice/payment issue resolution.
