The Procurement Manager Specialist leads all aspects of supplier relationships, develops and drives category strategies, and manages end-to-end procurement processes. They handle business request analysis, negotiate pricing and terms, select suppliers, process orders, manage contracts, and maintain supplier relationships. Lead commercial dealings with suppliers in critical areas, adhering to Global Procurement Policies and Processes.

The Procurement manager also builds and negotiates contracts within designated categories, following company policies to generate organizational benefits within the LEGO Group framework. They excel in conflict resolution and manage negotiations with mentorship from senior leaders, undertaking ad-hoc projects with senior support.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Drive negotiation processes and conduct cost analyses to foster competitive pricing.
  • Identify and manage risks, leading action plans to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Cultivate strong supplier relationships with a focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Analyze market trends and key indicators to inform pricing strategies and decision-making.
  • Lead productivity initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the supply chain.

  • Strong experience in within Procurement processes specially on Indirect Categories. Industrial engineering, international commerce degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Have experience with multinational companies or working with international teams
  • Analytical, negotiation and partner management skills.
  • Excel, SAP and Coupa knowledge.
  • Cost engineering general knowledge, Project Management certifications or specialized training within Supply Chain desired.
  • Advanced communication skills both in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas
