Formación

Overview

Objective:

The Procurement Excellence Specialist is responsible to identify opportunities to optimize processes and standardize workflows for Procurement to ensure efficiencies, control aligned with policies, reduce risks to fulfill policies compliance and visualize continues improvement on purchasing process, as well as the suppliers’ relationships and technology usage to reach operative and strategic excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, internal controls and ethics & compliance knowledge. This position works together with Procurement buyers and top management being the link between Procurement global policies and local alignments and Internal Controls-Audits needs.

Responsibilities

1. Contract compliance: Ensure Procurement Contracts are properly in place in Ariba, and be capable to identify opportunities to align systems according with contract policy through active interaction with Procurement and Legal teams.
2. Procurement policies deviations: Analyze and identify opportunities to ensure Procurement processes are aligned with GEN01, GEN03, GEN43, Global Procurement Policy and Procurement Playbook.
3. Audits: Assist audits and follow-up on deliverables to ensure observations close on time together with stakeholders.
4. Data cleaning: Maintain KPI’s on SRM open PO’s >360 days. Identify mismatches on WAPT reports.

Knowledge & Experience

• +3 years of experience in Procurement Excellence, Audit, Internal Controls and/or Ethics & Compliance areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration or equivalent
• Business fluent Spanish and English
• Strong knowledge on process mapping, flowcharts, internal controls management
• Knowledge of SAP, Ariba system, Project Management desirable
• Advanced Excel
