Descripción del empleo

The Indirect Procurement Buyer is responsible for placing purchase orders, tracking, and expediting non-catalog orders to meet internal customer requirements.

He/She initiates supplier setup with the approval of the Commodity Leader, ensures purchase orders are placed within 24 hours of requisition creation, monitors order progress, expedites critical orders, and rejects non-compliant requisitions.

He/She handles invoice discrepancies, resolves issues related to invoices on hold, and manages purchasing system alerts (e.g., invoice, quantity issues).

He/She collaborates closely with sourcing buyers and Commodity Managers by providing customer/supplier feedback and ensuring compliance with order placement within a strategic supply base.

He/She sets up and maintains Outline Agreements, price lists, info records, catalogs, and purchase order releases.

He/She ensures automation channels are correctly identified, implemented, and utilized.

He/She conducts compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to policies.

This position is intended to be transferred to a new, independent company named Solstice Advanced Materials upon separation, expected in late 2025 or early 2026.
