Job summary

Bain & Company, Inc. is seeking an Associate for the Mexico PI CoE to lead procurement-focused workstreams and deliver client-ready solutions. You will analyze financial and operational data, design cost optimization initiatives, and collaborate across global teams.

The role requires 2–4 years in procurement or an MBA with experience, strong analytical skills, and fluent English. On-site four days per week in Mexico City with exposure to Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business or Economics with 2–4 years of experience or MBA with 1–3 years.
• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong procurement and cost transformation understanding.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with visualization tools: Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement-related workstreams and manage client deliverables end-to-end.
• Analyze client data including P&L, ERP, budgets, and suppliers.
• Develop cost optimization initiatives and savings designs.
• Provide procurement solutions via spend analytics and category sourcing.
• Create dashboards and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI.
• Identify value creation opportunities using benchmarks.
• Translate analyses into actionable recommendations with clear storytelling.
• Collaborate with BCN and global teams on proposals and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain high quality through rigorous review.
