Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent technical experience required.
• Yellow Belt certification or training is required.
• Demonstrated track record delivering results in engineering.
• Solid understanding of technical principles relevant to manufacturing.
• Experience working on cross-functional project teams.
• Summer internship or progressive engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day problem solving support to production and R&D.
• Train operators on new equipment and processes.
• Build detailed technical understanding for key process steps.
• Work as part of a team or lead focused projects.
• Troubleshoot material, process, and equipment issues and root-cause them.
• Document changes to materials, processes or equipment.
• Use statistical tools and DOE for problem solving and process improvement.
• Ensure quality and repeatability of processes and products.
• Support new product introductions via equipment installation and qualification.
• Ensure operator safety and compliance with regulations.
• Develop SME knowledge in focused manufacturing/engineering areas.
• Execute DMAIC projects aligned with business goals.
