Position: Process Quality Engineer

We are looking to hire a Process Quality Engineer to join our team at San Luis Potosi.

What you can look forward to as a Process Quality Engineer:

1. Develop and specify control plans based on internal and external quality standards, procedures, methods, and tools, considering ZF standards.
2. Resolve problems in various situations by identifying and selecting appropriate solutions using established procedures and standards. Apply core tools in daily activities and problem-solving techniques such as 8D, 5 Whys, A3, etc.
3. Perform inspections using specified measurements and testing equipment. Conduct ongoing progress reviews several times a month with a short-term planning perspective.
4. Incorporate specific client requirements into area standards. Manage continuous improvement initiatives based on inputs like complaint trends by client, line, or commodity to address systematic, recurring, or severe problems.
5. Maintain communication and feedback with technical support onsite to address defective parts and implement corrective actions.
6. Attend customer-specific quality meetings regularly and represent the organization. Report quality status transparently to senior management.
7. Understand and comply with all IATF 16949 policies and procedures.

Your profile as Process Quality Engineer:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar fields.
2. At least 3 years of experience.
3. Troubleshooting Tools / Basic Core Tools knowledge.
4. VDA 6.3, MINITAB, and GD&T are a plus.
5. Knowledge of regulations such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NOM 035, NOM036, Customer-Specific Requirements, and Sustainability standards.
6. Conversational English skills.
7. Experience in team management (people in charge).
