Job summary

TT Electronics' Mexicali site seeks a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations, establishing robust process controls and driving efficiency.

You will implement core quality tools, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with design, vendors and internal teams to transfer processes and achieve KPIs. Fluency in English and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, electronics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience as a process engineer.
• Advanced to fluent English required (≈90% proficiency).
• Experience in implementing and improving manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve manufacturing processes; establish process controls.
• Perform 8D, root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation.
• Implement core tools (PF, PFMEA, PCP, etc.).
• Balance line/cell time to improve efficiency.
• Lead projects to improve yield and efficiency.
• Communicate with product design, vendors and internal departments.
• Propose layout changes to free release space for other products.
• Participate in product transfers and improvement projects.
• Meet department KPIs and ensure outputs meet requirements.

TT Electronics' Mexicali facility houses 65,000 square feet of office and advanced manufacturing. With a large workforce of 126 employees, this site operates in multiple shifts with cellular production lines and 13 production cells. This site is ISO9001 certified and manufactures an array of technologies including variable and fixed resistors, EPS sensors, and trimmers.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Core Requirements

• Bachelor'sdegreeinindustrial,electronics,mechatronicsormechanicalengineering.


• 2to5yearsofexperienceasaprocessengineer.


• Advanced to fluent English required (90% proficiency), including verbal and written communication.


• Experience in implementing and improving manufacturing processes.

Desireable Skills and Experience

• ERPsknowledgepreferableSAP.


• SixSigmagreenbelt(preferable).


• Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Microsoft Excel.
