Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a MFG & PROCESS TE specialist in Hermosillo, Sonora to provide technical support for automated manufacturing lines and to optimize processes. You will help ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality production while supporting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires Mechatronics/Mechanical/Automation background, experience with automated manufacturing processes, and flexibility for rotating schedules in a connected, global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechatronics or related field.
• Experience providing support to automated manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to high‑speed cable manufacturing lines.
• Monitor and maintain process performance on automated equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve process-related issues affecting quality and productivity.
• Support development, validation and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Make process adjustments and equipment configuration changes to meet specifications.
• Analyze production data and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Production teams on corrective actions.
• Assist in new product introductions, process transfers and equipment qualification.

Job Overview

El MFG & PROCESS TE brinda soporte técnico y experiencia en el desarrollo de procesos para líneas de manufactura automatizadas que producen ensambles de cables de alta velocidad. Es responsable de la optimización de procesos, el desempeño de los equipos, la solución de problemas, la mejora del rendimiento y la implementación de mejores prácticas de manufactura para garantizar una producción segura, eficiente y de alta calidad, además de apoyar lanzamientos de nuevos productos e iniciativas de mejora continua.

Job Requirements

Responsabilidades:

• Proporcionar soporte técnico diario a las líneas de producción de manufactura de cables de alta velocidad.


• Monitorear y mantener el desempeño de los procesos en equipos de manufactura automatizados.


• Diagnosticar y resolver problemas relacionados con los procesos que afecten la calidad, productividad, rendimiento o disponibilidad de los equipos.


• Apoyar el desarrollo, implementación, validación y optimización de procesos de manufactura.


• Realizar ajustes de proceso y cambios en la configuración de los equipos para asegurar el cumplimiento de las especificaciones del producto.


• Analizar datos de producción e identificar oportunidades de mejora de procesos y reducción de desperdicios.


• Colaborar con los equipos de Ingeniería, Calidad, Mantenimiento y Producción para impulsar acciones correctivas y preventivas.


• Apoyar la introducción de nuevos productos, transferencias de procesos y calificación de equipos.


• Desarrollar y mantener instrucciones de trabajo, documentación de procesos y procedimientos operativos estandarizados.

Ing. Mecatrónico, mécanico, electrónica.

Diseño mecánico, automatización, control y programación.

Experiencia brindando soporte a procesos de manufactura automatizados en un entorno de producción.
