Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, the Process Engineering Technician role involves working on automated equipment for ongoing industrial projects across different processes in the organization. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, and implementing improvements to equipment/machines, as well as reporting daily plans to prevent downtime and improve processes and equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Conduct daily meetings with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) related to maintenance issues.
• Support and troubleshoot automated equipment failures.
• Add new routines for robots, modify sequences/points.
• Analyze, detect, identify, and correct manufacturing problems and deficiencies.
• Add new routines for PLC and vision systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS in Electronics or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of PLC programming.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics/control systems.
• Advanced knowledge of vision system control.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial/cobot robots.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams, including complex automated system drawings.
• Develop preventive maintenance processes for automated cells.
