We are searching for the best talent for Process Engineering Manager to be in Juarez City.
You will be responsible for:
- Receiving administrative supervision, with responsibilities given in terms of the goals and general limits of the organization.
- Being assigned technical and administrative responsibilities to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate activities.
- Establishing operational goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategies.
- Preparing project programs and coordinating engineering activities to meet specifications and corporate goals.
- Planning and developing projects related to engineering, process development, maintenance, operations transfer, and cost improvements, addressing major or controversial issues impacting organizational programs.
- Maintaining communication with individuals and units within the organization, acting independently on technical aspects and activities.
- Implementing goal systems and procedures to ensure proper use and compliance of machines and equipment, revising requirements based on production needs, and overseeing capital improvements.
- Operationally resolving equipment, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays, and identifying new processes if necessary.
- Checking and approving process specifications, STD designs, and documentation changes.
- Practicing safety, quality, and policy adherence, actively participating in related activities.
- Monitoring financial metrics such as CIP, spending, and capital.
- Managing a team of engineers and technicians, including hiring, training, evaluating, and development.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, laws, and safety/environmental standards.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Engineering degree in any specialty; a Master’s in Science is recommended.
- Over 9 years of experience and training in the Medical Industry, preferably.
- Over 5 years of experience or training in a similar managerial position, preferably.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems like ISO or QSR.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of fundamental engineering techniques relevant to supervision roles.
- Profound technical knowledge of equipment, maintenance systems, calibration standards, tools, and documentation in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in computer software related to the activity.
- Project management skills, including understanding of scope, limits, and terms, and experience with project management tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement manufacturing practices like JJPS, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.
- Knowledge of financial concepts related to manufacturing, including budgeting and cost control.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
