Johnson Controls is seeking a Process Engineer on a temporary contract to design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes in a dynamic industrial setting in Matamoros, Mexico. The role includes building new production cells, documenting processes and supporting capacity expansion with Lean methods.

The candidate will lead process improvements, implement safety culture, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining rigorous technical documentation and project management

Qualifications

• Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of Harness manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years with cable and wire machines/tools (cut, strip, terminate, crimp, terminals punching, wire marking, testers).
• AutoCAD experience.
• English (spoken/written).
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout.
• Project management experience.
• Proven change management and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and validate manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to building new production cells and document production process information.
• Maintain and improve existing methods and support capacity expansion plans.
• Lead safety culture and accident prevention practices.
• Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, DFAM).
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives with multidisciplinary teams.
