Formación

Job Description:

Arranges Process Engineering Supply Chain project plans, key milestones, and objectives to ensure engineering outputs meet customer’s operational needs and requirements. Applies key knowledge to Process Engineering non-conformance, subsequent corrective, and preventive actions, by documenting, investigating, and conducting root cause analysis, and successfully implementing corrective actions. Builds key performance process engineering reports to escalate to management, along with status updates relative to success in meeting critical goals and objectives. Carriers out process validations on all ongoing Process Engineering initiatives for subsequent operational integration and supply chain implementation. Assists with Process Engineering Technician activity, supporting and enforcing site-specific safety and industrial hygiene requirements. Communicates and escalates in a timely manner, any Process Engineering issues or concerns to the next management level. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. This job is salaried.

You will be responsible for:

· Provides moderately complex technical support for project planning, development, implementation, and modification; contributes to engineering standards development balancing corporate and customer needs.

· Performs moderately complex research of new technology for potential corporate application.

· Performs some complex assignments designed to continue the development of professional work knowledge and abilities requiring enhanced application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out engineering tasks.

· Exercises independent judgment on details of work and in making selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.

· Performs assignments that have moderately complex objectives and require the investigation of multiple variables.

· Performs work which involves complex conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively complex features for which there are precedents.

· Assignments usually include more than one of the following: equipment design and development, test of materials, preparation of specifications, process study, research investigations, and report preparation.

· Identifies, designs, and develops the necessary equipment.

· Performs material tests.

· Studies the processes to implement improvements.

· Responsible for preparing and managing specifications.

· Coordinates technicians and engineers about unusual problems.

· Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment and tools that meet manufacturing, safety and environment requirements.

· Participates in saving and capital projects

· Responsible of complying with finance metrics

· Responsible for evaluating and developing action plans for quality, safety, cost, service and regulatory compliance requirements.

· Performs activities of process/product validation.

· Can supervise, coordinate, and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians.

· Responsible of evaluating and providing feedback in a timely manner, in performance and development plans for personnel in charge.

· Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

· For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

· Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

· Performs other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

Education:

· Engineering, any specialty.

· Master’s in science and/or certification is recommended.
