Formación

  • 2-4 years of experience in product development or manufacturing, preferably in medical devices.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Position:

We are searching for the best talent for Process Engineer II (2nd Shift) to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, at Plant Salvarcar.

Purpose:

Adds value through the knowledge of process engineering; provides support to the stabilization and to the life cycle of projects for continuous improvement from the identification to the execution and closing in terms of cost, quality, efficiency and time cycle. Quick response to operations in: technical resolutions, change of direction, manufacturing scalability, process development/operations product and material replacement. Can complete projects in his/her work area or with suppliers, in order to provide an interrupted flow of components for the assembly operations, that has the established requirements of instruments, quality, cost and delivery times.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to work activities and ensure subordinates do the same.
  • Complete necessary training within the designated time, including safety and environmental retraining.
  • Promote and adhere to safety policies within the work area.
  • Lead and execute projects aimed at reducing process and/or product variation, impacting business metrics positively.
  • Maintain updated work plans for projects, including design changes, process changes, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and execute cost improvement projects supporting manufacturing and supply chain goals.
  • Direct technical projects to improve capacity, maintenance, and performance of instruments and processes.
  • Support the approval and validation of process changes and improvements.
  • Assist in resolving quality issues related to components.
  • Coordinate supervision activities in manufacturing engineering and related technical areas.
  • Ensure supply chain continuity by qualifying and validating tools and components.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in product development or manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong group dynamics, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Technical competencies including tool design, risk assessment, validation, equipment design, and knowledge of GMP/ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, database applications, statistical analysis, and engineering software like CAD.
