Molex Guadalajara is seeking an Optics Connectivity Process Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and implementation of production processes in the optical connectivity segment. You will align with cross-functional teams and customers to drive innovation and meet plant objectives.

Responsibilities include developing line balancing, tooling, and production layouts, while ensuring QMS adherence and continuous improvement across 5S, EHS, and Lean programs. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial, Mechatronic, Photonic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, NPI, or product engineering on fiber optic projects.
• Solid knowledge in optical connector assembly.
• Skills with quality and problem-solving tools (8D, PDCA, DMAIC).
• Strong statistical knowledge.
• Conversational English proficiency.

• Design, implement, and manage production processes for the Optical Connectivity segment.
• Design, quote, and optimize tooling and peripherals required for manufacturing.
• Document standard processes and train operational staff according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop line balancing projects and improve standard times.
• Carry out the technical implementation of engineering changes.
• Design and optimize production layouts.
• Introduce new technologies and methods into manufacturing processes.
• Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs by adhering to all approved practices and procedures, participating in cleaning activities, and proposing improvements.
• Fulfill the responsibilities and authorities specified in the control plans associated with the position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Requirements)

• Degree in Industrial, Mechatronic, Photonic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, New Product Introduction, or product engineering on fiber optic projects.
• Solid knowledge in optical connector assembly.
• Skills with quality and problem-solving tools (8D, PDCA, DMAIC).
• Strong statistical knowledge.
• Conversational English proficiency.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in fiber optic manufacturing processes.
• Experience in technical-level Project Management.
• Previous experience working with fiber optic products.
