Molex seeks a Product Engineer Supervisor in Guadalajara to lead the Product Engineering team responsible for configuring products and maintaining technical documentation through the lifecycle. You will liaison between Manufacturing and Design Centers to ensure quality, compliance, and successful launches.

The role spans coaching engineers, managing changes in PLM and SAP, and driving digital transformation and traceability across MES systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Product/Manufacturing Engineering or related areas.
• Experience with SAP, PLM (Agile preferred), and MES systems.

Are you passionate about leading engineering teams and driving operational excellence? As a Product Engineer Supervisor, you will lead the Product Engineering team responsible for implementing and maintaining product configuration and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle for Connectivity products in Guadalajara. You will be the key liaison between Manufacturing and Design Centers, ensuring product quality, compliance, and successful new product launches.

Join a dynamic Product Engineering group within the OSBU division, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including design, quality, manufacturing, and planning. What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop Product Engineers, Technicians, and Interns, fostering engagement and continuous improvement.
• Govern product configuration and technical documentation across PLM (Agile), ERP (SAP), and MES systems.
• Drive the execution of engineering changes, new product introductions, and traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve performance issues and ensure successful product launches.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives and process improvements in product data management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Physics, Photonics, Mechatronics, or related).
• 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Configuration Management, NPI, or related fields.
• Experience with ERP (SAP), PLM (Agile preferred), and MES systems.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven skills in coaching, mentoring, and team development.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Optical Fiber and experience with Optical Fiber assemblies.
• Experience working with global design centers.
