Formación

Amazon Mexico Fulfillment Operations is seeking a Process Engineer (PE) to work in the ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team.

The PE team is a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the Amazon Fulfillment Network. This team is essential to establish best-in-class network performance across all process paths, accelerate implementation of technological advancements, and strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for operational leaders across the FC network.

As Amazon Mexico continues to rapidly grow the FC footprint and infuse the organization with new talent, we need to ensure the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to deliver expected gains from technology advances and process improvements. The team will focus on process control and shifting mean performance to minimize variation between shifts, buildings, and regions, thereby delivering strong OP performance. They will work closely with the ACES PM, launch teams, operations, engineering, and RME teams to improve input metrics for each process path by prioritizing and channeling resources to address gaps.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Design and drive process improvement initiatives from scratch within strict timelines.
  • Lead strategic process improvement initiatives across multiple FCs.
  • Design and implement network-wide standardization projects.
  • Develop and optimize SOPs for operational efficiency.
  • Drive data-based decision making through advanced analytics.
  • Partner with FC leadership to execute improvement strategies.
  • Coach and develop operational teams on process excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with Engineering, Learning, and Operations teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering/continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record in project management and process optimization.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Experience in high-volume logistics/manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis skills (SQL, Minitab, JMP).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with automation and technological implementation.
  • Previous experience in Amazon Operations is a plus.
  • Advanced programming/database management skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
