Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Querétaro seeks a Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, driving efficiency and quality improvements. You will lead simulations, document processes, and collaborate across R&D, Production, QA, and Maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in process engineering, experience with Lean, Six Sigma, ERP and data analysis, and intermediate English.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Conduct process simulations and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure processes meet operational goals.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement projects within budget.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to implement process changes.
  • Manage installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
  • Ensure processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Address process-related quality issues, perform risk assessments, and implement corrective and mitigation actions.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Train and mentor staff on new processes and best practices.
  • Provide technical support to resolve process-related production issues and minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Manage installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
  • Ensure processes comply with standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Address quality issues, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
  • Train and mentor staff on new processes, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation.
