A leading company in the field of manufacturing is seeking a Planning Specialist to ensure production objectives are met through effective management of resources and schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and have robust skills in MRP and advanced Excel, coupled with at least 2 years of relevant planning experience. This role emphasizes continuous improvement, problem-solving, and effective communication in English.

Formación

• Minimum of two years in planning experience.

What you will do:

• Meet production objectives to ensure timely service and product functionality.
• Responsible for meeting assigned production programs, through proper human, technical and material management.
• Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Health, Safety and Environment.

How you will do it:

• Develop Line Schedule plan, considering line rates and prepare attainment report.
• EC Implementation, Defining Phase in / phase out dates.
• Add NPI Pilot runs to line schedule.
• Subassembly and FG inventory control vs Fill rates.
• Direct contact with CSR to ensure all the dates and requests are being answered and solved in a timely manner.
• Monitor On-Time Shipments by request, lead time and promise dates, keeping results above targets.
• Responsible to capture root cause analysis together with the Value stream team and action plan to improve metrics.
• System Maintenance Jobs, Product id.
• Responsible of NMR cleanup by promising according to parts availability and line capacity.
• Responsible of creating recovery plans together with VST when past due accumulation or special projects to measure progress.
• Develop and participate in Kaizen events to improve plant metrics.
• Responsible of promoting a safe environment at work.
• Key element in the customer service and continuous improvement culture.
• Responsible to monitor and maintain Past due in the lowest levels possible, by scheduling ahead due dates and creating action items with the VST for root causes.
• Promote and reinforce the integrity of data.
• Develop Inventory reduction plans with VST for Subassembly and FG by converting, reworking excess of material.
• Self-learner and problem solver.
• Participate in risk management, which includes the identification of failure modes, hazards and environmental aspects, their respective assessment and the definition and implementation of controls.

What we look for:

• Education and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Plenty understanding of MRP.
• High Scheduling of Manufacturing Lines skills (schedule based on capacity, bottlenecks, etc).
• Advanced Excel skills.
