Masimo Mexicali seeks a Process Engineer to become the expert across production processes and equipment. You will create and maintain work instructions for assembly and in-process acceptance, and develop visual aids for critical steps to ensure proper acceptance criteria.

You will train staff to released instructions and drive automation validation across manual to fully automated lines. The role requires hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting, advanced English, and 2+ years in high-volume

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments and aerospace, automotive, or medical sectors is preferred.
• Experience applying statistical process controls in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics experience.
• Knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO-13485 requirements is a plus.
• Experience with process validations and risk assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Becomes process expert of all processes and equipment in the production area.
• Creates and maintains process work instructions for manufacturing assembly and in-process acceptance procedures.
• Develops and implements visual aids and physical samples on critical steps to indicate proper acceptance criteria.
• Trains manufacturing staff to released work instructions.
• Specifies, procures, installs, and validates manual, semi-automated and fully automated equipment.
• Develops and executes Process Validation Protocols or/and Transference Plans and generates test reports.
• Creates and maintains process risk assessments, PFMEA.
• Supports investigation, disposition, and corrective action of non-conforming materials.
• Establishes statistical process controls (SPC) for manufacturing operations.
• Develops and maintains World Class Manufacturing practices to ensure capability for the company’s products.
• Develops and implements cost reduction/process improvement programs.

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• Advanced English
• More than 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the aerospace, automotive, or medical industrial sector.
• Technical experience working in high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in application of statistical process controls in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in manual, semi-automated and automation processes, verification and validation
• Hands-on skills with electro-mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Excellent computer skills - CAD, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to be part of a team and adept in building and leading teams.
• Knowledge and experience in FDA QSR requirements and preferably ISO-13485 requirements.
• Experience with planning and executing process validations and managing process risk assessment.
• Knowledge on developing and executing saving projects thought lean manufacturing techniques.
