Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineer based in Guadalajara North, reporting to Mechanical Engineering Manager. The Process Engineer will be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements to support manufacturing operations.

What a typical day looks like:

• Recognize manufacturing processes, technologies, techniques, and products.
• Define, implement, and evaluate designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in manufacturing processes, independently or with other engineering stakeholders.
• Participate in daily production activities and problem-solving.
• Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Manage engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
• Develop and implement process control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvement activities.
• Evaluate and select engineered materials.
• Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity, and efficiency improvements.
• Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Review processing methods.
• Coordinate with production on new process implementation and transfer.
• Assist in training and technology transfer to production personnel.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Guide cost reduction programs.

The experience we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Knowledge of tools such as electronic assembly (color code, components, schematics), PCB operations, testing equipment (oscilloscope, troubleshooting, component testing), inspection tools, and mechanical/electrical tools.
