We are searching for the best talent for Principal Tool Crib Technician (Open Shift Availability) to be in Juarez, Chih., at Plant Salvarcar.
Purpose:
The Tool Crib technician receives, stores and delivers materials, spare parts and tooling as well as being responsible for keeping the records and documentation required by Tool Crib. He/she is also responsible for generating manual and electronic purchase orders of spare parts and consumables, entered in the Tool Crib area.
You will be responsible for:
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Duties and general responsibilities:
Counts, weighs and classifies articles that are delivered by Tool Crib to the users.
Makes sure to receive the material and spare parts ordered through bill matching delivered by the receipt area.
In charge of receiving material and transport it to the Tool Crib area for its storage.
Stores physically and systematically; consumables, manufacturing aids and spare parts.
Customer service through eCMMS, emails, Teams system, phone and radio. Service to deliver material through Maximo system.
Participates in the inventories programmed through counting and updating of the system.
Maintains the inventory system updated through the entering of inputs and outputs of items managed by Tool Crib.
Notifies to buyer person of minimum inventories or null existence of items to be delivered.
Keeps the required documentation of parts and materials.
Responsible of 5’s: Clean and clear working area including halls and aisles, packaging material disposition (batteries, cartoon, plastics and interchange items) and attend related audits.
Responsible for cycle counts and control for management items uploads into Tool Crib.
Stablish continuous cost reduction programs.
Knowledge on procurement process.
Knowledge on diversity of reports regarding consumptions by cost, part number, department, etc. for requirement of budgets and monthly finance closures.
Realization of metrics: Summary of data previously collected to perform purchase metrics, item outputs, cycle counts, OOS, OTIF, review and update of ROP and EOQ formulas.
Generate and track purchase orders.
Maintenance: Prepare and monitor equipment for maintenance and/or calibration within the area for the use of the internal operation of Tool Crib.
Follows up administrative processes, both personal and Tool Crib staff, such as WorkDay, training, projects, service, purchases, etc.
Follows up processes of integration and disengagement of suppliers.
Establishes and generates department metrics.
Develop suppliers.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to direct supervisor.
Maintains meetings as 1:1, departmental and/or with different areas to support projects or attend doubts regarding consumptions.
Perform trainings on time and shape: Perform trainings on Summit and compliance Wire Systems, presential or shared by the company. Train the Tool Crib customers to deliver items through WO-OTHER process on MAXIMO System.
Participates on special programs inside J&J to collaborate and lead activities as: Community events, ERG, VV100, etc.
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Complies with the regulations of the company related with practices of Health, Safety and Environment with all necessary assuring that all needed resources are available and in good conditions.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates
High School or equivalent / Technical Career
Full Knowledge on MAXIMO System (eCMMS) Inventory Module.
Excellent Knowledge on metal, mechanical, electric and pneumatic parts
Requires 6-8 years work experience.
Inventory management.
Experience in cycle counts.
Basic knowledge of eMP.
Basic knowledge of Electricity, Mechanics, Electronics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics.
Focused on Customer Service.
Use of MS Office.
Use of MAXIMO System
