Formación

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise applications or cloud environments.

Descripción del empleo

The role provides a mixture of production platform Operations ownership as well as engineering. You will solve challenging technical problems, identify improvements, and work on implementing your recommendations. You will also work directly with high-level developers on projects and work to blur the lines between traditional system operations and development support.

As a Service Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and deploying key services with a focus on architecture, production operations, capacity planning, performance management, and deployment. You will collaborate with multiple multi-functional teams to deliver new and outstanding experiences to our partners while ensuring reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate will be:

• BE/BTECH/MS/MSc/MCA/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute with 5+ years of experience in handling enterprise applications or cloud environments.
• Experienced in managing infrastructure/applications built on any two of the following technology groups:
• Oracle Database Technology including RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, ASM/RMAN, etc.
• Proficient in performance tuning and automation of reports from databases.
• Skilled in scripted and orchestrated automation, with a basic understanding of security fundamentals.
• Development experience using Python, SQL/PLSQL, Java/JavaScript, or Oracle APEX.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Deploying and supporting cloud services in new regions.
• Monitoring alerts, including security alerts, and performing remediation.
• Collaborating with product development teams to improve product quality.
• Developing automation scripts and maintaining SOPs/documentation.
• Providing support for database and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Participating in team meetings and activities.
