About Oracle OS Management Hub

Oracle OS Management Hub is a managed service that simplifies the management and monitoring of updates for enterprise operating systems at scale on-premises, on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and supported third-party cloud providers. It is included with Oracle Linux Support and OCI Compute subscriptions.

Qualifications

1. 5-6+ years of experience with Java and related frameworks/technologies
2. Experience with microservices development
3. Knowledge of Operating Systems
4. Experience with Cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure is a significant plus

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop cloud-based OS Management Hub services
2. Enable and enhance Linux and Windows cloud integrations
3. Integrate with existing cloud systems to create a fully featured OS management service
4. Develop modern architecture/microservices
5. Develop automated tests and participate in automated deployment
6. Engage in frequent design and code reviews
7. Proactively suggest and implement service improvements
8. Participate in active and direct support of the service

As a member of the software engineering division, you will play an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for developing software related to designing, debugging, and maintaining software applications or operating systems.
