Visteon Reynosa is seeking a Principal Engineer I in Process Engineering to lead engineering changes on programs, components, or manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality changes aligned with customer and company standards.

This role partners with quality, MP&L and process engineers to deliver lean manufacturing improvements, establishment of PFMEA, and successful startup of machinery and production lines.

Formación

• 2–5+ years in manufacturing or industrial engineering, preferably automotive.
• Hands-on production line setup and optimization.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• New product or process introductions (NPI/NPD).
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys).
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and customer requirements (Ford, GM, VW, Toyota Production System).

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain technical documentation such as work instructions, operation sheets, process flow, PFMEA.
• Planning and execute Engineering changes using APQP and PPAP.
• Coordinate the installation and start-up of machinery, tooling and production equipment.
• Provide Technical Support to production to resolve process issues and avoid downtime.
• Collaborate with quality, MP&L, and Process engineer departments.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and customer-specific requirements (CSRs).

Mission of the Role

Lead and coordinate the successful Engineering Change on programs, components, or manufacturingprocesses by ensuring quality systems. The Manufacturing Engineer bridges thegap between product development and full-scale production, ensuringhigh-quality engineering change inalignment with customer and organizational standards .

Qualification, Experience and Skills

2–5+years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role,preferably in the automotive sector.
