We are searching for the best talent for Principal Communication Technician to be in Ciudad Juarez.

Purpose:

Responsible for managing the communication’s equipment and providing various communication types related to business’ internal and external programs, such as CREDO, JJPS, Kaizen, and others. Collaborates with program sponsors to follow the appropriate communication strategy.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops and writes stories for print and electronic publications.
2. Participates in internal communication projects focusing on planning, development, and implementation of communication.
3. Measures and monitors the quality and impact of internal communication activities.
4. Coordinates a network of contacts to motivate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and adoption of best practices.
5. Edits written communication.
6. Interviews experts and key individuals to prepare stories.
7. Investigates issues to ensure communication accuracy.
8. Ensures program messages are consistent across all audiences.
9. Manages equipment used for communication initiatives.
10. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
12. Communicates business issues or opportunities to management.
13. Follows all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
14. If supervising staff, ensures compliance with all guidelines and resource availability.

Qualifications / Requirements:

1. High School Diploma and Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (complete or in progress).
2. 6 to 8 years of related experience or currently pursuing an Engineering Bachelor’s Degree with credits completed or recently completed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications, and Affiliations:

1. Experience with various communication types (print, electronic, audio, video).
2. Ability to craft messages for leadership and translate them into understandable communication for diverse groups.
3. Public speaking and presentation skills.
4. Leadership skills and experience developing others.
5. Proficiency with broadcast software and Adobe Creative Cloud, video editing, graphic design, and camera equipment.
6. Experience with tools to measure communication effectiveness.
7. High confidentiality and discretion.
8. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
