Job summary

Avnet, a global technology distributor, is hiring a Quote Business Specialist in hybrid Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. You will manage costings, prepare timely quotes for customers, and apply pricing methodologies from the global proposal desk to improve profitability.

You will work with sales, program management, finance, and suppliers to ensure best costs and accurate price books, while tracking win/loss results to identify opportunities for margin improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate quotes for customers leveraging the global proposal desk.
• Ensure quotes comply with internal policies and pricing standards.
• Contribute to pricing decisions and create pricing models for customers.
• Maintain customer price books and cost models, updating quote tools and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with materials, sales, program management, supplier BDMs, customer service and finance.
