Formación

Overview

Job Description
The Associate Pricing Analyst acts as a partner with the Sr. Pricing Analyst to support the pricing, merchandising and sales teams by managing all day-to-day pricing activities and publishing commercial pricing and discounts to support the overall company objectives, maintain and execute SAS and PROS queries to assist the department reporting needs and collaborate with any special project task assigned by the Pricing Analyst. The position is responsible for managing price plan integrity, tier system accuracy, competitor intelligence compliance and interchange efforts for sales purposes.

Responsibilities
  • TIER MANAGEMENT
    • Verify all new and reactivated PINs have a valid price plan.
    • Ensure new National Account Deals members follow their respective pricing rules and verify any hierarchy changes comply with the correct tier assignations.
    • Collaborate with the NA Pricing team to ensure pricing rules continue evident and member pins are accurate.
  • PRICE/DISCOUNT MANAGEMENT
    • Assist the category management team with the application of special, limited one-time pricing.
    • Apply Special deal requests (SDR) to support the sales team to gain new business or recover lost sales.
  • COMPETITOR PRICING INTELLIGENCE
    • Execute regular compilation, interchange and pricing of competitor intelligence provided by TSMs, Sales Managers and other field AutoZoners through the Grapevine mailbox.
    • Provide regular updates of AutoZone top selling parts with competitor intelligence.10% Measure success of pricing changes and promotional activity to ensure the team meets company expectations while maintaining stated and approved pricing philosophies; conduct regular analyses of category metrics, analyze/publish new product pricing/reporting, and develop product rationality relationships.
  • Collaborate on special projects led by the Sr. Analyst performing special tasks on the different tools and systems the commercial pricing team manages.
  • Assist the Sr. Commercial Analyst with pricing Ad Hoc reporting.
Qualifications
  • Level of formal education: An associate degree (two-year program) or equivalent formal training program.
  • Area of study: Business Administration, Computer Studies.
  • Years of experience: 1-2 years
  • Type of experience
    • English Language, ability to read and understand written directions, attend online and live meetings, and present results.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with/contribute to a team.
    • Report writing, Basic data Analysis, search and evaluate data on the internet and different online tools.
    • Special certifications or technical skills: Auto Parts knowledge, Proficiency in Microsoft office, Advanced Excel is a plus
  • Technical Skills: Auto Parts knowledge, Proficiency in Microsoft office, and Advanced Excel is a plus.
  • Other/preferred: Technical training is highly desired.
