Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Mexico seeks an experienced Design Release Engineer (DRE) for Powertrain Cooling Systems to own end-to-end design, integration, validation, and release of thermal management components for ICE, turbochargers, transmissions, and e‑motors.

You will lead DFMEA, GD&T, and release documentation, and collaborate with 1D/3D CFD teams using GT-SUITE, AMESim and Ansys Fluent to optimize coolant performance and warm‑up times.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end design and release of thermal management systems.
• Proficiency with DFMEA, CNs/ECNs, and GD&T documentation.
• Strong collaboration with CFD/thermal simulation teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration, validation, and release of thermal management components for ICE, turbochargers, and e-motors.
• Coordinate CFD/thermal analysis to optimize coolant flow and warm‑up times.
• Manage DFMEA, drawings, GD&T, and change notices through SOP.
• Interface with Tier‑1 suppliers and internal teams to meet milestones.
